Your responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate category/sales plans, forecasts, outlooks, and strategic views.
- Provide market analysis to understand and explain significant category/customer performance variations from historical or expected results.
- Ensure a seat at the decision-making table and provide high-caliber, respected advice and information for all strategic business initiatives (such as sizing, packaging, pricing decisions, etc.).
- Support and challenge (if necessary) category assumptions when analyzing and implementing business growth opportunities, such as new product development and investment analysis.
- Drive and understand all aspects of the Commercial P&L, act as a liaison between category management and supply finance with respect to S&OP planning, cost assumptions, commodity movements, squeeze targets, inventory obsolescence, etc.
- Develop a strong understanding of all category/customer trade investment strategies.
- Support Key Account Managers by providing necessary tools and information for year-end negotiations with customers.
- Manage the functionality, usage, and continuous improvement of various financial tools, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain positive and proactive interaction with sales departments to ensure ongoing, effective two-way working relationships and the exchange of quality financial information.
- Control trade terms, manage budgeting, and provide ROI analysis of promotional activities.

Education:
- Must Haves:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration (berufsakademie)
- Nice to have:
- Major in Finance
Work Experience:
- Must Haves:
- Job experience: 3-5 years’ working experience in Finance/Commercial Controlling
- Nice to have:
- Experience in extremely competitive, fast moving FMCG environment Industry: Branded Consumer Goods companies
Functional Skills:
- Must Haves:
- Strong IT & financial systems experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong commercial understanding
- Good to advanced accounting knowledge
- Strong MS Excel knowledge
- Nice to have:
- Power BI knowledge is advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
