About the role

As an Senior Assistant (Graduate) Science Platform (all genders), you’ll have the unique opportunity to turn pioneering science into products that resonate with consumers worldwide. You will be at the forefront, solving complex challenges and collaborating with diverse teams to create groundbreaking formulations and products. Your contributions will not only shape the future of our product portfolio but also propel your career forward within a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

This position is limited (for 2 years), with goal to transform it into a permanent position

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and execute laboratory experiments to support product development, performance assessment, and stability testing
  • Produce and prepare laboratory and consumer test samples, including support for pilot and industrial trials
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and documentation in line with SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse, document, and present experimental results, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Support product scale‑up activities in collaboration with Supply Chain and other R&D partners
  • Supervise and guide technicians or interns during project‑based laboratory activities

The experience we're looking for

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline
  • Professional experience (minimum 3 years) in laboratory‑based R&D, ideally within consumer goods or applied chemistry
  • Hands‑on experience with colloidal or surface‑related science (e.g. dispersions, emulsions, surface analytics)
  • Practical experience working with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques, and experimental data
  • Experience developing or supporting consumer product formulations or technologies
