About the role
Your responsibilities
- Ensure a robust Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program is in place, including non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions through completion.
- Manage key quality processes including Internal Audits, Change Control, Supplier Quality Management, Non-Conforming Materials, and CAPA to ensure sustained compliance and effectiveness.

Take accountability for ensuring all manufactured and sourced products meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.

Investigate quality issues, undesirable trends, and unplanned events; perform root cause analysis and implement lasting solutions with measurable follow-through.

Communicate quality requirements to suppliers, conduct supplier audits, address quality concerns, and ensure suppliers consistently provide materials that meet specifications.

Ensure manufacturing and operations teams consistently follow GMP requirements, quality procedures, control plans, and established quality systems.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality procedures, documentation, and training programs while holding stakeholders accountable for execution and compliance.
- Ability and desire to coach/mentor other Jr and Quality Engineers.
- Takes the lead during the absence of Quality Operations Manager.
The experience we're looking for
- BS in Engineering Sciences required: such as Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or related.
- 1 to 2 years of Quality Assurance experience preferable or equivalent technical experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Firm.
- Chemistry background is a plus.
- Knowledgeable or familiar in quality analysis tools such as SPC, PFMEA, DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, Acceptance Sampling, etc.
- Basic Statistical Techniques Skills, of Metrology and Calibration, Problem solving, analysis skills.
- Familiar with quality control methods, tools and techniques, Good communication, organizational and time management, data analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Strong interpersonal skills; Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
- Requires Experience or Development in the area of ISO Standards, Internal Audit, CAPA, Risk Management, SPC.
- Proficient in use of software such as MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Minitab.
- Capability to learn new software such as QMS, SPC, Trackwise, InfinityQS/SPC, LEEDS, Master Control
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
