About the role
- Support the manager in developing and executing category and brand strategies and marketing plans for OTC and hygiene brands in Hong Kong, contributing insights-driven, creative and data‑driven ideas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver brand strategy and plans to achieve category business objectives and brand KPIs.
- Take ownership of assigned initiatives with a problem-solving mindset, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen execution and brand impact.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, channel dynamics, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and support informed brand decisions
Your responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including NPD/EPD processes, claim upgrades, pricing inputs, communication materials, media coordination, and promotional activities.
- Act as day-to-day owner for assigned brand initiatives, ensuring strong execution and in-year follow-through.
- Work cross‑functionally to identify category needs and opportunities, supporting the development of pricing, distribution, and consumer promotion strategies.
- Work closely with Sales and Trade Marketing to support channel-specific activation, promotional mechanics, and POSM execution.
- Coordinate artwork, labelling and pack change projects, managing internal approvals and timelines to ensure timely, compliant execution.
- Support claims development and optimization by reviewing substantiation documents, scientific papers, and local competitors’ claims to strengthen brand equity while ensuring compliance
- Track and evaluate marketing initiatives against defined KPIs to support improvements in effectiveness and overall business impact.
- Monitor brand performance indicators such as sales and market share and supporting initiatives that drive sustained brand growth.
- Support market research activities by compiling data, analyzing findings, and helping uncover consumer and customer insights to guide brand decisions
- Coordinate with external agencies and partners on media execution, creative development, invoicing, PO creation and material delivery.
- Assist with documentation and filing, such as maintaining brand guidelines, campaign materials, contracts, and vendor records for easy reference and audit readiness.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or Trade Marketing, preferably within OTC or FMCG categories in Hong Kong.
- Experience in supporting brand planning, renovation projects, campaign execution, and performance tracking in a fast-paced market.
- Experience working with agencies (creative, media, digital, research).
- Able to compile and interpret sales data, consumer insights, and market research findings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into simple recommendations.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow through diligently on assigned tasks.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
