About the role
As a Junior Brand Manager, you will support a Senior Brand Manager in driving the growth and performance of key products within our Dettol portfolio. You’ll contribute to brand management across the Belgian and Dutch markets, helping to strengthen brand activation, market performance, and financial results. Based in our Amsterdam office, you will work on brand performance analysis, campaign execution, product launches, and crossfunctional collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and external agencies.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, proactive, and eager to grow into a full brand ownership position.
Your responsibilities
- Brand & Market Performance Analysis
- Prepare monthly performance reviews for the leadership team, covering net revenue, market share, and segment performance, along with actionable recommendations using internal dashboards and external data sources (including Nielsen, IQVIA for pharmacies) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyse market dynamics, competitor activity, and pricing to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Monitor brand activations of media and digital campaigns to extract insights for optimization and share successes.
- Brand Strategy & Activation
- Contribute to the 4P strategy and support the development and execution of the annual brand marketing plan.
- Support the development and execution of 360° marketing campaigns, including digital, social, POS materials, and healthcare professional communication.
- Support product launches, including artwork development, packaging updates, and coordination with supply and regulatory teams.
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply, Trade Marketing, and Global Teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans and achievement of market share and financial targets.
- Support the organization of sales force seminars and present promotional campaigns to medical sales teams.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing on store-format activation, assortment optimization, and promotional strategy.
- Assist the Sales team in preparing customer presentations.
- Project & Budget Management
- Take ownership of specific brand projects and provide recommendations to drive brand growth.
- Manage marketing budgets under the supervision of the Senior Brand Manager.
- Coordinate with external agencies to deliver highquality brand assets and campaigns.
The experience we're looking for
- You already have some experience in Marketing or Sales within the FMCG industry (including internships).
- You have strong analytical skills and mindset and enjoy looking into data.
- Rigour, eye for details and very strong organization skills.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Strong relationship builder and ability to communication effectively across all functions; ability to challenge constructively and confidently.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload and to take initiatives.
- Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch and/or French is considered a big plus.
