About the role

 As a Supply Planner, you will lead the local S&OP process for all Action brands across Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and France, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales teams to deliver excellence to customers. You will own the country-level forecast, manage inventory targets, and drive KPI performance for forecast accuracy and stock levels. This role involves coordinating supply planning, overseeing factory production schedules, mitigating risks, and representing Action in central planning meetings. Additionally, you will collaborate with logistics and customer supply chain teams to optimize processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare the country S&OP process for customer Action. 
  • Interact with local sales, marketing to understand demand forecast drivers and coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile variances. Ensure awareness of WD build up (opening stores) 
  • Manage and maintain forecast models for a certain group of brands incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing and finance. 
  • Manage all NPD/EPD launches into the business with the support of local Marketing, Sales and Supply teams including contingency planning and preventing issues in advance.
  • Facilitate and coordinate activities between factories/central planning and commercial on a day-to-day basis or for specific issue to meet demand forecast and customer expectations. 
  • Monitor factories production plans and manage inventory levels to optimize investment and minimize obsoletes/slow moving.
  • Identify and implement supply chain processes enhancement/efficiency opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Analyse service drivers and leads improvement initiatives to deliver best in class service performance.

The experience we're looking for

  • Min. 2 years of experience preferably in an FMCG environment 
  • Experience of statistical/data analysis/forecasting techniques 
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and tasks, remain organized and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions 
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and collaborative environment 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and influence internally across multiple departments and levels, and to work effectively as part of a team or on own initiative 
  • Knowledge of SAP or Kinaxis - Rapid Response or other software related to demand planning & S&OP  in a big plus!
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel in mandatory
  • English Fluent
