About the role

As the employment tax/payroll assistant manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Global Employment Tax and Payroll The role is key to ensuring we drive efficiencies across compliance activities and automate processes as much as possible

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for supporting in preparing the compliance activities the Global Employment Tax team are responsible for, for example, the UK STBV, PSA and setting up the process for the WKR NL.   
  • Support running the global remote work requests, working with different stakeholders to ensure all data is provided for tax review and supporting the wider team on ad-hoc tax projects.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate our current manual process. Creating end to end process maps for all activities.
  • Assisting the wider team with managing 3rd party vendor billing and out of scope queries from vendors which are employment tax/payroll touching.
  • Support in managing queries from the business/vendors on cross boarder employee moves and domestic employment/payroll tax matters.
  • Support our global payroll team with any compensation queries/collections when external vendor is preparing tax returns for our ITP populations.  Support in collating compensation data in excel format to share with our vendor for tax preparation.
  • Assist the Head of Global Employment Tax and Payroll to define the key employment tax risk indicators and put in place a structure to monitor these on an ongoing basis.
  • Responsible for preparing PowerPoint decks on status of projects and proposals the team is looking to introduce or updates on any payroll/tax changes impacting Reckitt and its employees.

The experience we're looking for

  • Professional approach and confident in managing external third-party providers and tax authorities
  • Proactive driving process mapping and automating manual activities
  • Strong organization skills with ability to prioritise – must be able to manage time effectively in a challenging environment and good communication skills.
  • Strong IT and Powerpoint skills with excellent presentation skills.
