About the role

The Automation Analyst will work closely with the Automation Lead to design, develop, and deliver automation and business intelligence solutions. The role involves building robust workflows, improving operational efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality output within defined timelines. The candidate will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement, lead small to medium initiatives, and support end-users through education and best practices.

This is a contractual role for a period of 12 months.

Your responsibilities

As an Automation Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. Your role involves streamlining business processes, integrating various applications, and ensuring efficient data flow across systems.

  • Workflow Design and Development:
    • Create and configure automated workflows using Power Automate.
    • Understand business requirements and translate them into efficient workflows.
    • Integrate different services and applications (such as SharePoint) using connectors.
  • Process Automation:
    • Identify manual and repetitive tasks within the organization.
    • Develop solutions to automate these tasks, improving overall efficiency.
    • Implement approval workflows, notifications, and data synchronization.
  • Data Integration and Transformation:
    • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data between systems.
    • Use Power Automate to connect databases, APIs, and cloud services.
    • Handle data validation, transformation, and error handling.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor workflow execution and handle exceptions.
    • Debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize workflows.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies
    • Implement access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
  • The Consultant is responsible for providing technical support to the GPS to increase their efficiency and accuracy.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor/master’s degree from a three/four-year college or university
  • Relevant of 3-5 years of experience in a developer role
  • Extensive experience in, systems/Data integration, defining business requirements and requirements documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred (Excel, Excel-VBA, Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Python, SharePoint Online and MS SQL Server)
  • Effective communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong aptitude for process improvement
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

May resolve problems within established practices.
