About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Reckitt’s financial integrity by supporting high‑quality financial accounting and operations for multiple countries in a global business environment. The Record‑to‑Report (RTR) Assistant Manager role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands‑on experience in manufacturing finance processes, and the ability to manage complex, multi‑country RTR activities with accuracy and timeliness. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams, local finance, business controllers, tax teams, and shared services to ensure compliance, efficiency, and standardization of accounting processes.
Your responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting
Manage revenue, lease, and inventory accounting.
Prepare/validate/approve journals with full documentation.
Review GL reconciliations and close aged items.
2. Cash & Bank
Review bank reconciliations and resolve exceptions.
Deliver accurate cash position, NWC, and cash‑flow reporting.
3. Intercompany
Handle intercompany recharges, reconciliations, and dispute resolution across entities.
4. Fixed Asset Management
Approve Capex; oversee asset creation and transfers.
Support disposals, impairment, capitalization compliance, and AUC governance.
5. Close & Consolidation
Manage period open/close, adjustments, and validations.
Resolve month‑end issues; oversee project accounting, PPV, estimates, and judgments.
Perform MFR review, consolidation adjustments, and statutory reconciliations.
6. Local Tax & Statutory
Prepare/review statutory financials (Local GAAP/IFRS).
Ensure compliance; support tax and deferred tax.
Manage audit queries with proper documentation.
7. Manufacturing Accounting
Support manufacturing project accounting.
Perform costing, variance analysis, deferrals, and order accounting.
Review NPD costing and PPV.
8. Management Accounting
Support top‑down allocations, manage exceptions, and handle one‑off corrections.
The experience we're looking for
• Qualified CA / CMA / CPA / CWA or MBA (Finance)
• 5–8 years of relevant RTR experience
The skills for success
- Strong accounting acumen with solid RTR governance expertise.
- End‑to‑end RTR knowledge: financial accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Robust understanding of IFRS and Local GAAP.
- Expertise in revenue, lease, inventory, intercompany, and fixed‑asset accounting.
- Proficient in SAP (FI/CO, MM, AA) and JD Edwards (GA, FA, Inventory & Manufacturing).
- Hands‑on experience with BlackLine and workflow/automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of capitalization policies, AUC/project accounting, and full asset lifecycle management.
- Advanced analytical and root‑cause problem‑solving capability.
- High focus on internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Experience in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across global teams.
- Effective operator in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
