About The Role
As the RTR Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of core financial processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and period-end close activities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing operational delivery across RTR activities, monitoring service levels, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead efforts to resolve escalations, support audit and compliance requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process standardisation and automation.
In partnership with Finance, Controllership, and delivery partners, you will identify opportunities to improve data integrity, reduce manual interventions, and strengthen internal controls. Your leadership will be key to delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the broader goals of operational excellence and transformation.
This role is critical to advancing our OneReckitt GBS ambition by ensuring high-quality service delivery, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation across the RTR landscape.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive RTR process excellence by partnering with RTR and Tax GPOs to enhance and standardize global processes.
- Ensure compliance with global standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.
- Champion automation, digital transformation, and process optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee end-to-end RTR operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Lead period-end close activities and maintain the integrity of financial results.
- Monitor service performance, resolve escalations, and address data quality issues.
- Collaborate with Finance, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and delivery teams to strengthen controls and reporting compliance.
- Support audit readiness and manage responses to internal and external audits.
- Lead, develop, and coach RTR teams, fostering accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of standard processes, tools, and new ways of working.
- Lead or support RTR transformation initiatives focused on standardization, automation, and system optimization.
- Apply effective change management to successfully implement process and system enhancements.
The experience We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience post CA in Record-to-Report (RTR), Finance Operations, or Shared Services, with a strong focus on service delivery and operational excellence.
- Deep expertise in RTR processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and period-end close.
- Proven ability to lead global teams, manage escalations, and drive high-performance service delivery.
- Strong experience in strengthening controls, improving data quality, and enhancing reporting accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and automation tools such as SAP and BlackLine.
- Effective stakeholder management across Finance, Controllership, Tax, and service delivery teams.
- Solid understanding of audit, compliance, and internal control requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
- Experience working within global standardization and transformation programs.
- Skilled in change management, process improvement, and system implementations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Proven track record of coaching, developing, and mentoring teams while promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
