About the role
The GBS Manager – Captive Enablement supports the coordination, structure, and governance of activities related to the Hyderabad Hub. Acting as the hub’s PMO, the role facilitates cross‑functional alignment, readiness tracking, and transition delivery.
This position works closely with global transition teams, hub leadership, and functional stakeholders to ensure smooth ramp‑up, alignment to GBS standards, and ongoing hub development.
Your responsibilities
Programme Management & Governance Support
• Support PMO planning and integrated hub readiness tracking.
• Maintain RAID logs, RAG reporting, and routine status dashboards.
• Coordinate governance cadence, including steering meetings, agendas, and escalations.
• Ensure alignment with the GBS operating model, standards, and global frameworks.
Cross Functional Hub Readiness Coordination
Across core readiness areas, coordinate and provide visibility on progress:
• Admin & Operations:
Budget tracking support, facilities and IT readiness follow up, and general administrative coordination.
• People & Onboarding:
Hiring status monitoring, onboarding and training tracking, and alignment of hub level internal communication.
• Culture & Ways of Working:
Follow up on organisational readiness, adoption of ways of working, and deployment of governance structures.
• Transition Support:
Track service readiness including KT plans, SOPs / WIs completion, service catalogue mapping, and documentation follow up; support hypercare coordination.
• Change & Communication:
Support change management planning, stakeholder engagement, communication alignment, and rollout of hub wide messages and updates.
• Hub Maturity & Continuous Improvement:
Coordinate activities linked to the Hub Maturity roadmap, monitor progress, facilitate improvement initiatives, and help embed continuous improvement behaviours across the hub.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a central coordination point between global transitions, hub leadership, and functional tower leads.
• Ensure consistency in processes and readiness approaches across GBS hubs.
• Identify risks, dependencies, or required support and ensure timely escalation.
Continuous Improvement & Hub Development
• Support the implementation and tracking of the Hub Maturity roadmap.
• Promote best practices, alignment to standards, and adoption of GBS ways of working.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in PMO processes, templates, and tracking tools.
The experience we're looking for
- Over 9 - 10 years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years of core project management experience.
- Experience in PMO, project coordination, or programme support roles.
- Exposure to Shared Services / GBS / transitions preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a cross functional, fast changing environment.
- Analytical mindset and comfort with structured reporting and governance processes.
