About the role
The IT&D Business Analyst – SAP Pricing is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP Pricing processes across the global Order to Cash (O2C), Revenue Management, and Commercial Operations cycles. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure accurate pricing, stable system performance, adherence to commercial policies, and continuous process improvement. The position plays a key role in SAP ECC deployment, S/4HANA readiness, pricing enhancements, issue resolution, and global commercial transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities
- Support SAP SD Pricing processes across quotation, sales order, delivery, billing, and rebate/discount management.
- Work with Commercial, Sales, and Finance users to gather requirements, analyse pricing issues, and propose SAP best‑practice solutions.
- Configure pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, condition records, surcharges, discounts, scales, tax‑relevant pricing elements, and relevant O2C settings.
- Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and cutover preparation for pricing deployments.
- Prepare functional specifications for pricing enhancements, reports, interfaces, outputs, and workflow improvements.
- Monitor integrations across MM (purchase pricing), FI (billing accounting), Vistex (if applicable), and Tax engines.
- Assist business teams during month‑end and quarter‑end activities such as price validation, rebate accruals, credit/debit note processing, and pricing-related reconciliations.
- Resolve day‑to‑day operational issues related to pricing errors, incorrect condition records, billing price mismatches, credit notes, and customer pricing disputes.
- Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure timely incident resolution and SLA compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring pricing issues and recommend permanent fixes.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, commercial policy controls, ITGC, ITAC, and internal control frameworks related to pricing.
- Maintain accurate documentation for pricing configuration, master data, process flows, and change logs.
- Work with SAP Security & GRC teams for pricing role access, mitigating controls, and SoD checks involving O2C.
- Support pricing master data governance for condition records, customer‑specific pricing, material pricing, rebate agreements, and tax‑related pricing data.
- Recommend opportunities for automation, digitalization, and pricing workflow improvements.
- Support S/4HANA migration readiness activities and participate in pricing enhancements, global rollouts, and template changes.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 5–9 years of hands‑on SAP SD experience.
- Strong process knowledge of quotation, order management, billing, rebates, discounts, and tax-related pricing.
- Practical experience with condition techniques, access sequences, pricing procedures, scale pricing, and customer/material-specific pricing.
- Understanding of integrations with MM (purchase conditions), FI (billing & accounting), and Tax engines.
- Experience supporting global or multi‑country pricing operations with complex commercial structures.
- Prior involvement in SAP rollouts, pricing enhancements, or migration projects (ECC/S/4HANA).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in distributed global teams across time zones.
Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%).
