About the role

Reckitt has a Data and Analytics (D&A) focused on leveraging core information assets to better equip markets to improve their decisions and optimize their actions using improved data, insights, and advanced analytics The D&A team consists of five (5) key areas of expertise: Engineering, Visualization, Strategy and Operations, Platform and Governance

Your responsibilities

  • Understand and scale data processing and analytics solutions, including technical feasibility and proposal development for Big Data ingestion, storage, processing and consumption (e.g., development of enterprise Data Lake strategy, heterogeneous data management, decision support/BI over Data Lake)
  • Continuously evaluate relevant technologies, influence and drive architecture and design discussions
  • Analyse structural requirements for new software and applications.
  • Should be familiar with various architecture patterns – familiarity with Microservice-based application architecture and  medallion architecture is preferred.
  • Guage the current system performance and drive optimization by formalizing and implementing best practices and standards

The experience we're looking for

  • 10+years of strong hands-on experience as Data and Application architect, with proven experience in delivering large scale SaaS/PaaS/API/Microservice architecture based applications
  • Experienced proficient in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows, and deploying integration solutions
  • Experience in designing Cloud based solution mainly using Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory v2, dbt, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory and Azure security
  • Good understanding of ETL technologies, Azure Cloud and Azure Analytics stack, e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory
  • Hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end data warehousing/ETL/ELT project implementations
  • Proficiency in any of the Languages (Python, Scala, java, C#, PowerShell)
  • Expert in distributed database system architecture principles
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, DataOps is a must
