About the role
The IT&D Director – ERP Deployment will lead the enterprise-wide ERP deployment strategy from the Hyderabad Hub, with end-to-end accountability for transitioning legacy ERP platforms such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) to SAP ERP (ECC) & across all pending Commercial and Manufacturing entities.
The role will ensure structured, compliant, and business-aligned ERP rollouts while establishing strong governance across PMO, Organizational Change Management (OCM), Training, Testing, and deployment execution.
Your responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ERP deployment lifecycle for Commercial & Manufacturing entities.
- Lead migration from JDE to SAP ECC ensuring harmonized global template adoption.
- Drive standardized processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Define transition roadmap from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
- Align ERP roadmap with Enterprise Architecture strategy.
- Evaluate brownfield vs greenfield approaches.
- Ensure deployment readiness for RISE / Cloud-based future platforms.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence (GxP where applicable).
- Establish structured ERP Deployment PMO framework from Hyderabad Hub.
- Manage global deployment roadmap, milestones, budgets, and risk registers.
- Track KPIs: timeline adherence, defect leakage, adoption metrics, cost governance.
- Drive Steering Committee reviews and executive reporting cadence.
- Develop stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
The experience we're looking for
- 15+ years of extensive experience in SAP ERP leadership roles.
- Experience in leading large scale migrations (JDE to SAP ECC)
- Deep understanding of SAP landscape and S/4HANA strategy.
- Proven leadership in global PMO and multi-country rollouts.
- Strong stakeholder management at CIO / CFO / COO level.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
