About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT&D Platform Manager – Core Infrastructure to join our Data Centre and Global Connectivity team. This role will be responsible for defining the strategy, architecture, lifecycle management, and operational excellence of the organization's Core Infrastructure platforms across enterprise and manufacturing environments.
The successful candidate will lead the modernization of on-premises and hybrid infrastructure, including Azure Local, virtualization, storage, Windows platforms, PKI, DNS, and Citrix technologies. The role requires a strong technical leader who can develop long-term technology roadmaps, drive infrastructure transformation initiatives, improve resiliency and cybersecurity, and ensure platforms remain scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Your responsibilities

•    Define and execute the 3–5-year technology roadmap for Data Center, Azure Local, Virtualization, Storage, PKI, Citrix, and Core Infrastructure platforms, aligning with business, manufacturing, and digital transformation objectives.
•    Design, architect, and modernize scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and Microsoft Azure environments.
•    Lead the deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management of virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, and Azure Local, ensuring capacity, performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
•    Develop and implement enterprise storage and data protection strategies covering Dell storage, Azure Files, NAS platforms, replication, backup, disaster recovery, and cyber-resiliency capabilities.
•    Architect and manage core infrastructure services including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Certificate Authorities, identity services, and certificate lifecycle management.
•    Define and maintain highly available infrastructure services through redundancy, load balancing, failover, automation, monitoring, and proactive performance management.
•    Provide strategic leadership for Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix SaaS, ensuring secure and reliable end-user experiences.
•    Embed security-by-design principles across infrastructure platforms by partnering with Cyber Security teams to support Zero Trust, identity security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
•    Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions that improve security, performance, scalability, operational excellence, and cost efficiency.
•    Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural oversight for strategic infrastructure initiatives, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
•    Collaborate with global infrastructure, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and business teams, as well as strategic vendors and partners, to deliver reliable and future-ready infrastructure services.

The experience we're looking for

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
•    Minimum 15 years of experience in Data Center, Core Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, or Infrastructure Architecture roles.
•    Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-scale Windows, Virtualization, Storage, PKI, and Core Infrastructure environments.
•    Hands-on experience with Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), Microsoft Azure services, Azure Arc, and hybrid cloud architectures.
•    Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, and virtualization modernization programs.
•    Strong experience with Dell storage platforms, Azure Files, NAS solutions, storage replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery technologies.
•    Deep understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity services.
•    Experience with PKI architecture, certificate lifecycle management, encryption technologies, and cybersecurity controls.
•    Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies including Citrix Cloud, XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC.
•    Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable  
•    Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
•    Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
•    Strong leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving infrastructure transformation initiatives.
