About the role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded IT&D Manager to lead the Smart Execution capabilities of the Sales Execution platform globally. The primary role is to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technology teams, owning the roadmap of the solution and manage the on-going deployment and adoption within the markets. The ultimate objective is to deliver insights which create value and drive business forward in the space of route-to-market, in-store execution and sales excellence, whilst ensuring synergy, cost effectiveness and appropriate levels of data governance.
This candidate will need to demonstrate an effective communication and delivery skillset and collaborate confidently with mid-senior levels of the organisation. We are looking for someone who can innovate, with the ability to encourage performance and motivate peers and the wider organisation to embrace advanced data & analytics capabilities.
Your responsibilities
Capability Management
• Define and own the feature roadmap for the Smart Execution capabilities, including RTM, Routing, In-store Execution and Order Recommendations
• Gather and translate business requirements from commercial and sales teams into technical user stories and acceptance criteria
• Prioritize backlogs and make decisions aligned to the business value
• Partner with the technology teams, data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and application developers to deliver the capabilities
• Manage the full technology lifecycle — from discovery and design through build, testing, and deployment
• Drive adoption of the Smart Execution capabilities across Sales (Retail Management, Key Account Management), Trade Marketing and Customer Supply, ensuring tools are effectively utilized to achieve business objectives
• Monitor usage and identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement
• Utilize a deep understanding of FMCG categories and external data to inform development and deployment strategies
• Work closely with other teams within Sales Execution Platform for a seamless integration of AI within existing workflows
• Manage vendor relationships, including implementation partners
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders of capabilities managed, building and maintaining strong relationships, and driving adoption
• Manage and communicate Roadmaps, providing details of delivery timelines, training and deployment to regional and market users
• Collaborate with and provide expertise and support to market teams, developing action plans based on analytical insights, refine processes and unlock new capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with Global and Regional commercial teams to develop analytics best practices, maintain and deliver these in the markets in alignment with the IT operating model
• Work with other Global IT&D Managers within the Sales Execution team to ensure alignment and leveraging the synergies between teams
• Ensure alignment of the technical delivery with the Reckitt’s data analytics platform - Trinity data architecture standards, patterns and principles. Align changes where necessary
• Implement solutions aligned to global IT&D enterprise architecture frameworks
The experience we're looking for
6-8+ years in business analysis, data science consulting or IT Management (with exposure to AI Product Management)
• Proven experience in designing, deploying and adopting analytical tools within commercial teams
• Experience in working with the Sales functions
• Preferred experience for role:
• FMCG / Consumer Goods experience preferred
• Previous hand-on Data Science experience preferred
• Exposure to Modern Trade and/or Pharmacy/OTC sales channels

• Familiarity with Sales Execution solutions or platforms
• Familiarity with Azure tech stack and Microsoft Power Platforms
• Ability to guide AI model development, managing trade-offs between data availability, model accuracy and business value delivered
• Ability to evaluate model performance and translate model outputs into business insights to drive stakeholder buy-in
• Designing experiments to measure value delivered and inferring/extrapolating results
• Delivering end-to-end ad hoc analyses including scoping, problem translation, solution design and insights generation
• Awareness of impact of solution architecture and solution design choices on infrastructure requirements
• Ability to write or review functional specifications
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
Business Acumen
• Strong grasp of Sales Execution levers: execution compliance, on-shelf availability, MSL, share of shelf etc.
• Ability to translate commercial strategy and processes into design and decisions
Soft Skills
• Excellent stakeholder management across senior commercial and IT leadership
• Strong communication — able to speak both “business” and “tech”
• Analytical mindset with comfort around large datasets
