About the role

Reckitt has a Data and Analytics (D&A) unit, focused on leveraging core information assets to better equip markets to improve their decisions and optimize their actions through the use of improved data, insights and advanced analytics The D&A team consists of six (6) key areas of expertise: Platform & Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Visualisation, Data Science, Data Governance and Strategy & Operations.

Your responsibilities

Setting the policy and standards for the Data Platform. Making sure data is provided in required format, to the right people, is of the highest possible quality and with proper security controls implemented, and that all PII data is treated according to GDPR and local legislation where applicable.

Identify g aps that exist in clients’ technology systems and formulate, modify, and integrate improved software applications, ensuring that it harmonizes with existing systems.
Creating synergy within the entire organization by striving for optimal performance, connections and mutual commitment between individual business units.
Lead BigData Platform transformation to Azure / GCP cloud delivered as a platform with appropriate infrastructure setup, defining frameworks wherever needed for maintaining Life Cycle Management, HA & DR etc., have standards and Guidelines for modelling data, engineering pipelines, securing data, and appropriate governance.
Perform periodical assessment of infrastructure utilization, data security, data stores and its legitimacy.
Provide technical leadership in transforming requirements to solutions and technical designs, while working as a key member of cross functional delivery team(s); distributed across multiple geographies and organisations.
Ensure solutions are in-line with the target state Reckitt Enterprise Architectural as well as the platform standards, with significant focus on non-functional aspects of the solution.
Perform periodical review of the platform & Infrastructure health to ensure that the scores are compliant with the Well Architectured framework and help Infra team to apply suggested recommendations as appropriate
Contribute to Reckitt Center Of Excellence team in defining/refining the Platform/Infra audit checklist and conduct the audits
Work with the Vendor technical teams like Microsoft, Databricks to review the solutions wherever technical expertise is required at platform level.
Participate the Sustainabililty/Architecture reviews conducted by Microsoft/Google, identify the recommendations provided which are relevant in the Reckitt context and ensure to implement the same at the platform level.
