About the role
IT&D Product Manager - Planning & Sustainability will be a part of IT&D Procurement Product group, under the IT & D Supply group stream. The IT&D Procurement Product Group will provide expertise in the Reckitt IT Product and Systems landscape and would comprise of Product Managers, scrum masters, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Technical Analyst and others. Will work with Reckitt senior business stakeholders, product managers, project teams and various external stakeholder like Product Vendors, SI partners to develop and envision product strategies and product execution roadmaps in the procure to pay product line.
Resource is responsible for all Planning & Sustainability Products within Procurement, ensuring that the end-to-end value for each Product is delivered from ideation to retirement. Resource will develop and maintain a robust understanding of their functional area, aligning product strategy to the wider business functional goals. The key point of contact for managing the demands of their business aligned counterparts, acting as a single point of contact for the business to reduce complexity and foster strong relationships. Resource will translate both business requirements into technology solutions and explain complex IT solutions to non-technical resources. Resource will be accountable for the financial performance of their Product, directly reporting all budgetary decisions to their respective Product Group/Product Stream Lead.
The role would require excellent knowledge on the various procurement applications, the leading products and product vendors in the procurement space within the markets, product features, product licensing aspects and the architectural aspects along with sound Product and Project Management experience. The role requires close coordination with various stakeholders both internal as well as external to deliver projects globally. Interpersonal skills, communication skills and analytical skills are necessary.
Your responsibilities
- Implementation of short term and long-term high-level Product strategy and vision, alongside roadmaps
- Applies product management discipline to full scope of accountability and to each product and proactively manages product life cycle
- Continuous improvement through innovative and data driven practices. Oversees the long-term business capability automation and digitalization roadmap for the business outcomes the products and the product group deliver
- Contributes to maintenance of an IT&D Governance process that enables prioritisation
- Ensures that the integration between products and platforms works
- Security compliance and risk-management of all in-flight projects within their scope
- Coordinates internally with Product Group/Product Stream Managers and Senior Business Stakeholders to define, validate and refine product vision, strategy, definitions and roadmaps
- Acts as the point of contact for the Product and works closely with business stakeholders to rapidly provide value to the business
- Works across the organisation — with stakeholders, suppliers, other product managers and Office of the CIO to ensure product (group) success globally
- Provides visibility and insight to their Product Group/Product Stream Lead on Product Line status, risks and issues
- Oversees relationships with suppliers and strategic vendors in the delivery of development, testing and support services, influence product roadmaps
- Identifies business, technology trends and innovation that can improve the product group’s business outcomes and works with the relevant Innovation teams to deliver proof of value
- Contributes and supports the business team to prepare for change management activity happening within the Procurement function and across the organization
- Govern and enforce the standardised solutions for projects, programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives within Reckitt
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
- Microsoft Office Suite to Proficient level.
- Knowledge in procurement / planning / sustainability
- Knowledge in Data and Analytics tools and processes
- Agile software development methodologies e.g. Scrum, SaFe
- Functional Knowledge of procurement / planning / sustainability systems integration with ERP systems (SAP and Non-SAP)
- ITIL V3 to Intermediate level.
- Knowledge in procurement / planning / sustainability applications like Anaplan, Kinaxis, Ecovadis, IntegrityNext or similar
