About the role

Join our IT&D Vendor & Commercial team, where you’ll play a critical role in strengthening how IT&D manages its commercial and financial operations at scale. You’ll be accountable for defining and embedding IT&D‑wide standards and processes that enable vendors to raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) consistently, compliantly, and efficiently.

Working across IT&D, Finance, Procurement, and our vendor ecosystem, you’ll translate commercial policy into practical ways of working that improve control, transparency, and value. This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise‑wide processes, influence senior stakeholders, and raise the overall commercial maturity of IT&D.

Your responsibilities

Own and define IT&D standards, policies, and end‑to‑end processes for vendor‑led PO creation and management

·  Design and implement a consistent PO operating model across all IT&D platforms, products, and services

·  Establish clear governance and controls to ensure vendor compliance with PO standards

·  Partner with Finance and Procurement to ensure PO processes align with enterprise financial, audit, and compliance requirements

·  Enable vendors to effectively adopt and operate PO processes through clear guidance and oversight

·  Strengthen forecasting accuracy, budget control, and spend transparency across IT&D

·  Define KPIs and reporting to measure PO compliance, efficiency, and quality

·  Drive continuous improvement to reduce commercial risk, manual effort, and financial leakage

The experience we're looking for

Proven experience in IT commercial, financial, procurement, or vendor governance roles within a complex, global organisation

· Strong understanding of Purchase Order lifecycle management, financial controls, and compliance

·  Experience designing, implementing, and governing standards and processes at enterprise scale

·  Confidence working directly with vendors to define expectations and challenge non‑compliance

·  Ability to partner effectively with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and IT stakeholders

·  Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable processes

·  Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in a senior individual‑contributor role
