About the role
The IT&D SAP Procurement is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP-based Procurement solutions across the global Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) landscape. This role ensures that SAP MM, Ariba, VIM, and related procurement systems are effectively deployed, integrated, and optimized to support day‑to‑day business operations. The position partners closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to deliver stable, efficient, and compliant procurement processes.
Your responsibilities
- Translate Procurement requirements into SAP solutions using SAP MM, Ariba, and VIM.
- Design and configure P2P processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and supplier management.
- Support S/4HANA deployments, enhancements, and template rollouts for Procurement modules.
- Prepare functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, and custom reports.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
- Ensure Procurement processes integrate effectively with Finance, Inventory, and Manufacturing
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to identify solution needs and process improvements.
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops and provide best-practice recommendations.
- Resolve operational issues and support key Procurement activities such as vendor onboarding, PO approvals, contract usage, and invoice processing.
- Support P2P-related compliance, audit requests, and process documentation
- Provide functional support for SAP Procurement applications.
- Work closely with managed service providers to ensure timely incident resolution and SLA compliance.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring system issues and drive preventive fixes.
- Maintain proper documentation for changes, configurations, and support activities
- Ensure Procurement processes adhere to internal controls, ITGC, ITAC, SoD, and audit guidelines.
- Support SAP Security & GRC teams with role design, approvals, and access reviews.
- Maintain accuracy and governance for procurement master data (vendors, source lists, purchasing info records).
- Recommend process automation opportunities (OCR, VIM workflows, catalog automation, supplier portals).
- Support adoption of new Procurement tools and digital enhancements.
- Bring industry best practices into P2P process discussions
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- SAP certification in MM, Ariba, or Procurement (preferred)
- 7–12 years of hands-on SAP Procurement experience (SAP MM must-have).
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA Procurement, Invoice Management (VIM), and Ariba.
- Strong understanding of core P2P processes: requisitioning, purchasing, invoice management, vendor management, approvals.
- Experience with integrations (MM–FI, MM–PP, Ariba–SAP, VIM–SAP).
- Solid experience working with business users in global or multi-country environments.
- Prior involvement in SAP projects such as enhancements, rollouts, or migrations.
- Ability to work with distributed teams across time zones.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%).
