About the role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven IT&D Senior Manager to lead the TPM (Trade Promotion Management) capability within the Global Sales ecosystem.
This role owns the technology vision, roadmap, and delivery of TPM and Customer Planning capabilities, driving transformation from fragmented, market-specific solutions toward standardised, scalable, and future-ready platforms.
You will play a key role in delivering IT&D Customer Planning priorities, including:
• Enhancing and modernising existing TPM platforms
• Delivering Sales capabilities to improve customer planning, analytics, forecasting and promo ROI
• Strengthening governance, financial control, and compliance
Acting as a bridge between Commercial, Finance, and Technology, you will ensure solutions deliver measurable business value, including improved productivity, forecasting accuracy, and trade investment effectiveness.
Your responsibilities
Capability Strategy & Ownership
• Define and own the technology vision and roadmap for TPM capabilities (promo planning, execution, financial control, customer planning)
• Balance short-term enhancements with long-term platform strategy (future e2e sales planning / TPM ecosystem)
• Align roadmap with Sales, RGM, Finance, and IBP priorities
• Drive standardisation and scalability, reducing market-specific customisations
Capability Delivery & Lifecycle Management
• Own the end-to-end tech lifecycle: discovery, design, build, deployment, and continuous improvement
• Translate business needs into clear technology requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Prioritise backlog based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment
• Partner with engineering, data, and analytics teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and integration patterns
TPM Transformation
• Lead delivery of capabilities, including: Customer planning insights, Promo planning and execution enhancements, Post-execution performance and analytics
• Drive modernisation of TPM user experience and reporting
• Support transition from legacy systems toward future integrated sales planning platforms
• Contribute to tool rationalisation and simplification agenda
Adoption, Value Realisation & Change Management
• Drive global adoption and behavioural change across Sales, Finance, and Demand Planning teams
• Track and communicate business impact (e.g., revenue uplift, cost savings, productivity gains)
• Standardise workflows and ensure consistent ways of working across markets
• Lead market engagement, training, and rollout strategies
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
• Act as primary capability owner for senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, and IT&D
• Influence and challenge stakeholders to prioritise enterprise value over local optimisation
• Collaborate with: Global Managers (RGM, IBP, Sales Tech), Data & Analytics teams, Architecture and platform teams, External vendors and implementation partners
• Communicate roadmap, priorities, and delivery progress clearly to leadership
Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure TPM solutions meet financial control, audit, and compliance requirements
• Support enterprise initiatives (e.g., controls, cyber security, finance transformation)
• Reduce IT and business risks through standardised and governed solutions
The experience we're looking for
Strong ownership mindset with the authority to drive enterprise level simplification
Understanding of TPM/RGM processes and platforms
Familiarity with data, analytics, and integrated system landscapes
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong commercial acumen across promotion planning, trade investment, and customer planning
Strong stakeholder management, including senior leadership
Strong commercial & financial acumen
Ability to operate in complex, ambiguous environments
Excellent communication bridging business and technology
Analytical mindset with focus on value delivery and outcomes
Critical experience for role (approx. 3): 8–12+ years in IT&D, or tech-enabled commercial roles
Experience owning global or multi-market products or platforms
Strong background in TPM, RGM, Sales Planning, or Trade Investment
Proven track record in driving adoption and transformation at scale
FMCG / Consumer Goods experience preferred
Preferred experience for role: FMCG / Consumer Goods experience preferred
