About the role

As the Head of COE - Internal Audit, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the vision for Reckitt’s Internal Audit Centre of Excellence. You will drive the development of global audit strategies, set best practices, and ensure the highest standards of risk management and compliance across all regions. This is a highly visible leadership role, collaborating closely with executive management and cross-functional teams to safeguard Reckitt’s integrity and operational excellence. You will champion innovation in audit methodologies, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and represent the function both internally and externally. 

Your responsibilities

  • Lead global audit methodology aligned to IIA standards; oversee audit plan and resource prioritization.
  • Drive consistency in audit practices and maintain updated audit policies, templates, and procedures.
  • Design and deliver technical training; support global onboarding and capability building.
  • Champion digital innovation, adopting analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT&D to develop dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Oversee internal and external audit reporting.
  • Lead Internal Audit Quality Assurance, conduct periodic reviews, and track KPIs.
  • Maintain the central audit knowledge repository and governance processes.
  • Act as a key liaison with audit leaders to identify needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture and mentor audit talent to support succession and growth.

The experience we're looking for

  • Qualified auditor/accountant with proven leadership experience in a major international organization or large accounting practice. 
  • 12-15 years of FMCG/Consumer Health experience preferred, with strong expertise in developing and innovating leading internal audit processes and systems. 
  • Strategic mindset with ability to interpret and evaluate control and process issues. 
  • Strong influencing and communication skills across global boundaries. 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder communities with varying levels of experience. 
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and modern analytics tools (JDE/SAP/Power BI desirable)
