About the role
As the Internal Audit Manager – Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness, depth, and insight of Internal Audit through the design and delivery of high‑quality analytics. You will support global audit teams by developing data‑driven insights, dashboards, and risk indicators that improve coverage, efficiency, and assurance quality.
Working in close partnership with COE Management, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, embed analytics into audits, and help develop scalable solutions aligned to the audit universe. This role requires a hands‑on analytics expert with strong business understanding, the ability to interpret complex datasets, and the skills to collaborate with auditors, data owners, and stakeholders across the business
Your responsibilities
- Support audit planning by assessing data quality, availability, and analytics opportunities.
- Identify risks, trends, anomalies, and key indicators across business processes.
- Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to design risk-based analytics tests.
- Extract, prepare, and analyze data from ERP, finance, HR, and IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, security, and documentation standards.Develop and execute analytics routines to support audit objectives and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain standardized test libraries for key audit areas (P2P, O2C, R2R, Payroll, IT Access).
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI/Tableau to highlight insights and exceptions.
- Support auditors in interpreting results, identifying root causes, and evaluating control gaps.
- Develop automated testing and continuous monitoring solutions for high-risk processes.
- Maintain reusable datasets, analytics pipelines, scripts, and reporting assets.
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for audit and business stakeholders.
- Support the development of evidence-based audit observations and recommendations.
- Ensure analytics deliverables meet Internal Audit quality and documentation requirements.
- Manage multiple audit engagements, priorities, and delivery timelines effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to strengthen analytics adoption and data literacy.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing, best practices, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Internal Audit, Data Analytics, Assurance, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau, including data modelling and KPI design.
- Familiarity with analytics for ERP and operational systems (SAP, JDE, etc.)
- Understanding of audit processes, risk assessment, and controls testing.
- Experience applying statistical methods, anomaly detection, and sampling techniques.
- Certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA/CA, CFE, or analytics certifications (SQL, Power BI, Azure) are advantageous.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality outputs under tight timelines.
