About the role

As the Internal Audit Manager – Operations & Quality Assurance within Reckitt’s Global Internal Audit Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping best‑in‑class audit delivery, strengthening methodology, and driving continuous improvement across the global audit function. Reporting to the Head of the COE, you will oversee global audit operations, lead the function’s Quality Assurance programme, and ensure consistent application of audit standards, practices, and tools.

You will directly manage a diverse team of audit delivery, data analytics, and IT&D professionals, building capability and embedding progressive ways of working. You will also collaborate closely with Audit Leaders and Domain Leads to enhance execution quality, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the digital enablement of the audit function. This is a highly visible role, central to ensuring that Internal Audit delivers impactful, value‑adding assurance across all regions and processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day Internal Audit operations, ensuring effective planning, resourcing, and delivery.
  • Maintain and enhance audit methodologies, templates, standards, and governance processes.
  • Support annual audit planning, resource management, portfolio oversight, and performance reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor audit progress, quality, and operational metrics.
  • Partner with Data Analytics teams to drive digital enablement and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance & Improvement Program, ensuring compliance with audit methodology and standards.
  • Conduct quality reviews and provide feedback to strengthen audit effectiveness and consistency.
  • Support external assessments and continuous improvement initiatives across the audit function.
  • Analyze quality trends, root causes, and performance insights to drive improvement actions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop audit, data analytics, and IT&D team members within the COE.
  • Support onboarding, training, capability building, and professional development programs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with Audit Leaders, Domain Leads, and stakeholders to ensure consistent audit delivery.
  • Communicate operational insights, QA outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support management and audit committee reporting with relevant performance and quality metrics.
  • Drive adoption of analytics, automation, digital tools, and innovative audit practices.
  • Pilot and implement new methodologies, technologies, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency, and overall value delivery.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, CISA, or Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
  • 8–12 years of Internal Audit experience, with strong exposure to operational audits and audit quality reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in global or matrixed organisations, ideally within FMCG/Consumer Health or comparable industries.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, process evaluation, and quality principles.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coach others, and foster a high‑performance culture.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse geographies.
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems (SAP/JDE) and analytics/visualisation tools (Power BI desirable).
