About the role

Reporting to the IT&D Genesis Product Manager, the IT&D Genesis Scrum Master is responsible for enabling agile delivery across Genesis AI transformation initiatives within procurement. The role facilitates agile ceremonies, removes delivery impediments, and ensures product teams operate effectively to deliver AI and digital capabilities. The Scrum Master works closely with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure work is prioritised and delivered iteratively. The role also supports scaling agile delivery practices across multiple Genesis workstreams. 

Your responsibilities

Agile Delivery Enablement 

Facilitate sprint planning, stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives 
Support backlog refinement and prioritisation with product owners 
Ensure teams maintain a predictable and sustainable delivery cadence 
Track sprint progress and highlight risks 

Impediment Removal 

Identify and remove delivery blockers impacting team progress 
Enable collaboration between engineering, data science, and business teams 
Escalate cross-team delivery dependencies 

Agile Coaching 

Coach teams on agile principles and continuous improvement 
Support adoption of agile best practices 
Promote transparency and team accountability 

Delivery Tracking & Reporting 

Maintain sprint dashboards and delivery metrics 
Track team velocity and delivery performance 
Provide visibility of progress and risks to programme leadership

The experience we're looking for

Essential 

Strong experience as Scrum master’s in technology or transformation programmes 
Strong understanding of Scrum and agile frameworks 
Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineers and data scientists 
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills 
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar agile tools 

Desirable 

Experience supporting AI or data platform delivery 
Experience working in enterprise transformation programmes 
Experience supporting scaled agile environments 

Technical / Professional Qualifications 
Essential 

Over 8+ years of Strong experience using agile collaboration tools 
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fiel

Desired 
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent 
Agile or Scaled Agile certifications
