About the role

As the Senior Manager of the Finance Planning & Reporting Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will report to the lead of the Finance CoE and be responsible for driving the strategic financial initiatives that enhance our reporting and planning capabilities across the organization. You will design and implement a comprehensive framework for financial analytics and reporting that supports data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. This includes leading the development of standardized reporting processes, automating forecasting models, and ensuring the integration of best practices in financial planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance CoE. 

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction of the Finance Center of Excellence, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives while driving initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to gain a deep understanding of their financial needs, providing strategic insights that support informed decision-making and align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of standardized reporting packs, ensuring they accurately reflect the evolving needs of the organization and deliver timely, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Guide the team in the management and publication of interactive dashboards, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and ensuring that dashboards effectively capture and communicate key performance indicators.
  • Drive the automation of forecasting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring alignment with global guidelines for a cohesive financial outlook.
  • Champion best practices in financial reporting and analytics, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages continuous learning, professional growth, and the sharing of best practices within the Finance CoE.
  • Actively participate in finance transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline existing processes, standardizing report templates, and automating manual tasks to elevate the CoE’s efficiency and impact. 

The experience we're looking for

  • 10 - 12 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related fields, preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven track record in managing financial reporting and analytics teams.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced Excel functions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
