About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Data Readiness Contractor to support Separation and Transformation projects. The role will focus on ensuring employee and organizational data readiness, data validation, document recovery, stakeholder coordination, and project reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong HR operational knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple time zones to ensure the successful completion of project deliverables.
Your responsibilities
Data Readiness & Project Support
• Support Separation, Spin-off, Split, and other organizational transformation projects with a primary focus on HR data readiness activities.
• Review, analyze, and validate employee data files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent employee data and drive remediation efforts with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in data collection, consolidation, reconciliation, and validation activities across multiple HR systems and repositories.
• Maintain project trackers and monitor data readiness milestones to support overall project timelines.
Stakeholder Management & Coordination
• Engage with stakeholders across various regions and time zones to validate employee data and recover missing files/documents.
• Coordinate with HR teams, HR Operations, HRIS, Payroll, Compliance, and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.
• Follow up proactively on pending actions and ensure timely closure of data gaps and dependencies.
• Build strong working relationships with global teams to support project objectives.
HR Data & Process Expertise
• Demonstrate logical understanding and interpretation of employee data records, employee lifecycle information, and HR documentation.
• Review employee files and identify potential gaps, inconsistencies, or data quality concerns.
• Apply knowledge of HR processes, including:
o Onboarding
o Employee lifecycle management
o Job changes and transfers
o Offboarding and Separation processes
o Rewards, Payroll & Benefits
o Learning & Talent
o Employee records management
Reporting & Governance
• Take ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables and project activities.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to project leads and stakeholders.
• Participate in weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly project governance calls.
• Escalate risks, issues, and blockers in a timely manner to ensure project continuity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, action items, and project decisions.
Tools & Technology
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
• Prepare presentations and status updates using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Leverage Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools to support project execution.
• Navigate HR applications and systems to retrieve, review, and validate employee information.
The experience we're looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Data Management, HRIS, or related functions.
• Experience supporting HR transformation, separation, divestiture, M&A, spin-off, split, or similar organizational change projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of employee data structures, employee files, and HR data management practices.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records administration, and workforce management.
• Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or equivalent platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
