About the role
In summary, you'll:
Scope:
- Support the Channel teams, providing financial analysis and performance insights to enhance commercial effectiveness.
- Assist in monitoring and enforcing internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of trade spend analysis and promotional evaluations.
- Month end closing and reconciliation.
- Operate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with exposure to both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decision-making.
Your responsibilities
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Partner with the sales teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
- Month end closing & reconciliation process including journal entries and reporting.
- Analyze sales performance, trade spending, and promotional effectiveness to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Perform trade investment accruals sufficiency analysis and leading on accruals sufficiency meeting with Sales team.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and assist in implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards to enhace data visibility and decision-making.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects as required by the Sales Controller or business stakeholders.
The experience we're looking for
- Relevant experience in financial analysis, audit, or commrcial finance; experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableu) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
