About the role

Act as a strategic business partner to the Sales leadership team, driving performance through insightful analysis, robust financial planning, and strong governance of trade investments. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and influencing commercial decisions to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

 

Scope:

  • Own monthly Net Revenue closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all local and global reporting requirements.
  • Lead financial governance of trade investments, including accruals, tracking, and ROI evaluation.
  • Drive forecasting and planning processes in alignment with Sales and Commercial strategy.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Operate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with exposure to both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decision-making.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales Leadership Team, providing insights and constructive challenge to drive better business decisions.
  • Lead month-end closing process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations and performance reporting.
  • Own analysis of sales performance, trade spend, and promotional effectiveness; proactively identify risk and opportunities.
  • Lead trade investment accruals sufficiency review and leading on accruals sufficiency meeting with Sales team.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and assist in implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards to enhance data visibility and decision-making.
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as required by the Sales Controller or business stakeholders.

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience in financial closing, reporting, and trade spend management.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
