Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies to drive sales growth, improve market execution, optimize trade investment, and strengthen brand presence across all channels while ensuring effective budget control and return on investment.

Your responsibilities

Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly trade marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate brand strategies into channel-specific activation plans.
  • Drive category growth through effective shopper marketing and in-store execution.
  • Lead promotional planning, visibility programs, and customer activation initiatives.

Trade Investment & Budget Management

  • Own and manage the Trade Marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Monitor trade spend effectiveness and deliver maximum ROI on investments.
  • Track budget performance, accruals, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and governance requirements.

Sales & Channel Development

  • Partner with Sales teams to develop channel growth strategies and customer business plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve distribution, visibility, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Support key account negotiations through commercial and trade marketing insights.
  • Drive execution excellence across Modern Trade, General Trade, and Emerging Channels.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate promotion effectiveness and recommend optimization actions.
  • Develop business reviews and trade marketing performance dashboards.
  • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead project execution from planning through post-implementation review.
  • Support new product launches and innovation commercialization.

  • Adept at turning statistics into actionable insights and sales strategies.

  • Strong project management capabilities including thorough planning, communication, and budget handling.
