About the role

The role is a Fixed Term position

Your responsibilities

  • Building a relationship of trust & partnership with customers.
  • Management of company receivables & collections from customers.
  • Ensuring timely settlement of customer payables (trade spends etc.)
  • Periodic reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA’s as agreed for the respective processes.
  • Review process performance and report out performance dashboards.
  • Drive, develop and implement tools to manage and improve service quality.
  • Maintenance of customer master data
  • Adherence to internal controls & compliance

Competence Required

  • Natural leader potential – entrepreneurial decision-making skills and communication skills of a high order.
  • Strong track record of delivery is critical
  • People management – Able to effectively influence customers to drive change and improvement
  • Strong ability to review & see beyond the detail of the numbers and identify issues and opportunities in the business. Displays a high sense of urgency to make sure the job gets done.
  • Strong analytical skills – including commercial, financial acumen

The experience we're looking for

  • Education: BCom Accounting or Finance
  • Experience: Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable / Sales Finance
  • Language skills: Fluency in English
  • IT: Intermediate Excel skills
  • SAP Turbo Experience
