About the role
Are you a finance professional looking to bring your analytical thinking to a vibrant and forward-thinking company? As our new Claims Accountant you'll have the unique chance to contribute directly to the financial well-being of our operations. Your expertise will be responsible for managing ,analyzing and reporting on claims-related financial transactions. This role ensures accurate accounting of claims , compliance within contrils and support decision -making by providing insights into claims perfomance and risks .Join us at Reckitt where your attention to detail and dedication to excellence can truly shine
The role is fixed term contract
Your responsibilities
- Claims Accounting & Reporting
- Record , reconcile and monitor claims -related financial transactions
- Engage with customers , internal Reckitt stakeholders to obtain necessary information and proof of performance to settle claims.- Bi Weekly reports on claims tracking and performance for senior leadership review.- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Reckitt internal accounting policies. - Controls & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls over claims accounting.- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries- Ensure compliance with requirements and company policies - Claims Analysis- Investigate variances and trends in claims data to help drive process improvement.- Provide financial insights to support claims management and risk mitigation.- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve claims processes
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or related fields.
- Professional qualification (CA,CPA,ACCA or equivalent)
- 1-3 years experience in accounting , ideally with exposure to claims, insurence or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in SAP preferred , advance Excel skills required
