Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.

About the role

We're looking for a Procurement Manager who will be the driving force behind our purchasing operations. At Reckitt, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact, implementing strategies that align with our pioneering vision. Your expertise in procurement will be pivotal in ensuring we not only meet but exceed our efficiency and cost-effectiveness goals. Your role will contribute to the beating heart of our operations, securing the high-quality goods and services that empower our global success.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
- Craft and implement procurement strategies that harmonise with company objectives, focusing on cost efficiency and quality.
- Foster and maintain beneficial supplier relationships, skillfully negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms.
- Lead the procurement team with insight and inspiration, promoting operational excellence.
- Manage the procurement cycle, ensuring compliance and smooth execution from sourcing to contract management.
- Seek and enact opportunities for cost reduction, process enhancement, and supply chain improvement.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, syncing procurement goals with the company's broader vision.
- Anticipate supply chain risks and devise proactive approaches to maintain supply integrity.
 

The experience we're looking for

- Demonstrable progression in procurement roles, with a track record of effective leadership.
- Astute negotiator with keen problem-solving abilities aimed at driving savings and nurturing supplier relations.
- Ability to lead and develop procurement teams, encouraging a unified work ethos.
- Fluent in procurement software, matched with excellent communication capabilities.
- Experience in category management, supply chain planning, and working with third-party logistics providers.
