About the role
The position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing planning from material ordering to manufacturing planning and control for both factory and co-packers across Pakistan. This position is also responsible for factory, co-packers, export markets, and importation of materials. The incumbent is required to interact with Production, Packaging, Logistics, Supply Services, Supply Finance, Commercial, Sales teams, QEHS, R&D, Engineering, Suppliers, Co-packers, and Reckitt countries that Reckitt Pakistan exports to. The manufacturing Planning Manager reports directly into the Manufacturing (Supply) Director Pakistan.
Your responsibilities
Strategic
- Effectively supervise planning activities to ensure production requirements are met so as to maintain optimum customer service levels.
- Continuously plan and implement process improvement plans to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work on and implement effective Inventory optimization strategy so as to increase operational efficiency of production processes.
Operational
- Inventory management- ensuring inventory is kept to minimum levels.
- Ensure zero Out of Stock / Distress
- Ensure, by effective management of the Planning team, that Supply Plan is executed as planned.
- In absence of Manufacturing Planning Manager, all responsibilities and authorities shall be hold by Planning Manager for material management activities and Warehouse Manager for warehouse/stores related activities as his deputy, respectively.
- Ensure compliance & contribute to upkeep and improvement of Health, Safety & Environmental corporate policy/procedures & applicable legal requirements
- Any other task assigned by Top Management.
- Ensure strict adherence with Quality Management System(s)

The experience we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an FMCG Supply Planning division.
- Educated to a minimum of Master’s degree level in Engineering or Business, from a reputable university.
- Team management and team building skills.
- Strategic Planning and Monitoring ability.
- Stakeholder management: ability to build and maintain external/internal Customer relationships.
- Expertise in MRP and MP
- A solid background in Planning / Supply Chain within a managerial role, equipped with people management and budget oversight capabilities.
- Innovative and adept at problem-solving, with a proven track record of tackling challenges head-on.
- Analytical prowess, with the ability to decipher figures for investigative and problem-solving activities.
- Financial and commercial insight with a thorough grasp of business implications and opportunities.
- A history of thriving in action-oriented environments, possessing a results-driven mindset when encountering obstacles.
- Experience within the supply chain from end-to-end or within an engineering discipline will be vital.
- Leadership qualities that emphasise resource management, project direction, and team motivation.
