About the role

Ensure 100% supply of materials to meet an agreed production plan whilst optimizing inventory, covering the following:

  • Reckitt Pakistan in-house Factory providing service to Reckitt’s local and regional affiliates
  • Copackers / Toll Manufacturers providing services to Reckitt’s local and regional affiliates
  • Local and Imported Raw and Packaging materials & their manufacturers / suppliers

 

Your responsibilities

  • Support in validating the master production schedules for each relevant production value stream.
  • Manage and improve the flow of in-bound materials from external suppliers, both local and imported, to meet production plans and manage stocks.  
  • Identify, scope and implement alternative order patterns / replenishment techniques with purchasing.  
  • Monitor capacity of supplies to manage supply vulnerability and deploy techniques to mitigate the risks.  
  • Support the IBP process (supply review) with accurate information and propose materials supply alternatives to fulfil demand, maximizing fill rate and minimizing write-offs  
  • Provide the business with analysis information such as materials availability, solutions, shipments schedule and commitment deviation.  
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders for timely materials release from customs authorities.  
  • Optimize RM/PM stock holding & ensure the stock held is required for production within a given horizon.  
  • Ensure material order management in-line with the established processes and systems  
  • Ensure robustness of MRP / Planning systems by regularly reviewing relevant planning master data  
  • Own material lifecycle including obsolescence and formulate methods to optimize any overruns / write-offs  
  • Support product development platforms by providing solutions and incorporating them into the materials planning processes in a timely manner for project delivery
  • Lead material management improvements through lean tools such as VSM and A3, incorporating the continuous improvement actions for waste elimination from the process

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Business. 
  • Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience within Supply Chain Planning, Production Management, Warehousing & Logistics in a reputable FMCG company.
  • Proficiency in using large data sets and spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems including Material Resource Planning and Inventory Management.
  • Knowledge of E2E Planning Tools like Rapid Response is an added advantage.
