Reckitt’s R&D Trainee Program is designed for curious, ambitious, and science‑driven young professionals who want to build a long-term career in Research & Development. Over two years, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to real projects, cutting‑edge technologies, and cross-functional collaboration — all while contributing to products used by millions of consumers worldwide.
This is not a shadowing role. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities from day one, supported by experienced mentors, and given the space to grow into a future R&D leader.
About the role
The R&D Graduate role at Reckitt offers fresh science graduates the opportunity to work at the heart of product innovation and improvement. As part of our Product Development & Maintenance (PDM) team, you’ll support real projects from day one — contributing to formulation work, feasibility studies, validation, stability testing, and industrial trials. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across Supply, Quality, Marketing, and Global R&D, gaining hands‑on experience in how products are developed, improved, and protected throughout their lifecycle. This role is designed to accelerate your learning, build strong technical foundations, and prepare you for a long‑term career in R&D within a fast‑paced, global FMCG environment.
Your responsibilities

Support and lead low‑risk R&D projects with guidance from senior scientists

Participate in formulation development, feasibility studies, validation, and stability testing

Assist in industrial trials, documentation, and dossier preparation

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Supply, Marketing, Quality, and Global R&D

Apply quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards in day‑to‑day work

Communicate risks, progress, and insights effectively to stakeholders
The experience we're looking for

Hold a Pharm‑D or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (preferred fields) or any other relevant science field

Be a fresh graduate from 2024 or 2025

Have less than 1 year of full‑time work experience

Be based in Karachi (Shortlisted candidates will not be eligible for relocation benefits)
