About the role
As an R&D Formulation Assistant, you will support the development and delivery of innovation projects across the category pipeline. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to formulation development, technical risk assessment and product scale-up activities, helping bring high-quality, compliant products to market.
Your responsibilities
- Support analytical and formulation development activities across innovation projects from lab scale through to factory scale-up.
- Contribute to product feasibility assessments and delivery of key development milestones.
- Partner with R&D, CTSG and cross-functional teams to support product development from concept to launch.
- Identify technical risks and support the development of mitigation plans.
- Assist in defining product specifications and desired product attributes in line with project requirements.
- Support technology transfer, product scale-up and application of QbD/DoE principles.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including formulation reports, stability reports and regulatory documentation.
- Conduct technical evaluations, benchmarking and due diligence activities where required.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, laboratory and safety standards.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- Understanding of analytical techniques, including chromatography and laboratory-based testing.
- Knowledge of product development processes within a laboratory or regulated environment.
- Understanding of technical risk assessment and mitigation approaches.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Comfortable working independently in a cross-functional environment.
