About the role

 

Global R&D Manager - PLM Deployment 

Hybrid Working, Hull

This is a transformational leadership role. You will deliver an enduring positive change in the way in which Core Reckitt develops and delivers new products to the market and manages product changes thereafter.  

You will be the primary representative to lead deployment readiness and change execution at site/function level, ensuring successful onboarding, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of the digital PLM solution. To do so, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Reckitt sites and a range of functions including Product Development, Specification Management, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory and Sustainability. You will be part of a core PLM team that will define the overall Blueprint for Product Lifecycle Management and its subsequent implementation in the PLM solution. 

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Own deployment execution at cluster/site/function level within assigned waves. 
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and readiness assessments. 
  • Lead cluster/site readiness assessments and create tailored implementation plans. 
  • Track key actions and proactively drive closure. 
  • Manage risks and issues to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for deployment-related queries and escalations. 
  • Report deployment status to PLM Programme governance forums. 
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across impacted teams. 
  • Design and facilitate workshops, governance forums, and communication plans. 
  • Drive change adoption through compelling narratives and engagement strategies. 
  • Support training preparation and execution in collaboration with Global OCM team. 
  • Monitor adoption and readiness metrics leading to go-live. 
  • Participate in hypercare and BAU support from a change management perspective. 

The experience we're looking for

 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field. 
  • Proven track record in ERP, PLM, or other enterprise system deployments (SAP, etc.). 
  • Strong project management skills with experience in cross-functional, multi-geography environments. 
  • Expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and process harmonization. 
  • Experience in training coordination and adoption tracking. 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
