About the role
As an Outsourcing Senior Associate you'll have the opportunity to lead in product development and project management. This role involves transforming cutting-edge prototypes into consumer-ready products that reflect the innovation at the core of our business. You will be at the forefront of our industry's evolution, navigating through complex, multifaceted projects with a mix of technical skill and creative thinking. Your responsibilities
- Conduct the Outsourcing process by working with the Outsourcing Team, the Clinical and Quality teams to ensure strategic selection of suitable Vendor(s) and/or Site(s).
- Source (identify, assess, and select) Vendor(s) and/or Site(s)
- Prepare core bid/tender documents including the facilitation of the scope of work (specifications of ser-vices) and lead the bid/tender process to critically compare quotations and Vendor(s) and/or Site(s) proposals.
- Conduct commercial and contractual communication and negotiations as a representative of Reckitt with Vendor(s) and/or Site(s), securing the optimal contractual agreement for Reckitt.
- Prepare contracts (including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, call-off contracts, standalone agreements etc.) and change orders for execution with or without legal support to ensure robust contracts are implemented and risks are mitigated.
- Own, manage, and track the clinical study/investigation budgets for clinical studies/investigations under your remit and effectively communicate updates with key internal stakeholders.
- Drive the productivity agenda to realise cost savings for Reckitt, ensuring these are reported effectively.
- Monitor, report on, and improve Vendor(s) and/or Site(s) performance whilst employing effective relationship management to drive a robust vendor governance and oversight framework.
The experience we're looking for
- Negotiation skills and contracting
- Profound user knowledge of all standard IS applications (MS-Office etc).
- Valid Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Pro-active and self-directed with a high level of initiative and persistence.
- Detail and service orientated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate successfully in various team capacities and in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong impact and influencing skills.
