PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is one of Reckitt’s most strategic global transformation programmes, redefining how we manage data, processes, and innovation across R&D, Supply, Regulatory, and IT&D. The programme will fundamentally change how we hold, manage, and use product data, creating a single source of truth that connects R&D, Procurement, Supply, and Marketing. By doing so, it will enable smarter decision-making, unlock operational efficiencies, and deliver multi-million-pound savings across the organisation.
You will deliver measurable improvements in compliance, accelerate speed-to-market, and enhance innovation throughput. As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of one or more projects within the PLM programme. You will drive the enterprise business integration, business processes, and data governance to support Reckitt’s future ways of working.
Working jointly with our external partners and internal stakeholders, you will ensure delivery excellence, compliance, and alignment with Reckitt’s strategic and operational goals. Your responsibilities
- Plan and execute tollgate and checkpoint reviews to confirm readiness, compliance, and adherence to enterprise delivery framework and IT&D policies.
- Manage business resources assigned to the project, ensuring effective collaboration, prioritisation and clear accountability.
- Build stakeholder alignment through transparent communication, proactive risk management, and timely evidence-based decision-making.
- Ensure project execution adheres to GxP validation, data privacy, and cybersecurity principles throughout delivery, ensuring full traceability, audit readiness, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Set up and drive weekly operational review forums, capturing minutes, ensuring progress tracking, managing RAID items, and closure of actions.
- Publish weekly project status reports to Programme Managers and Senior Leadership, highlighting key progress updates, critical risks, issues, and decisions.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and solutions in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
- Act as project lead within SAP PLM transformation project bridging business and technical delivery teams.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and coordination across R&D, Supply, Regulatory, IT&D and external partners
The experience we're looking for
- Proven experience in project or programme management, preferably within R&D, IT&D or commercial operations within a regulated environment (e.g. FDA, EMA).
- Proven ability to deliver complex transformation projects in global, matrixed organisations.
- Understanding of GxP standards, validation, data integrity principles, and cross-functional processes spanning Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain.
- Hands-on experience delivering digital transformation projects (PLM project delivery and Digital R&D transformation) a proven track record of leading complex, cross functional initiatives.
- Experience with SAP PLM or planning and implementing related SAP workloads is preferred. Experience managing data migration or system integration between PLM, ERP, and Regulatory systems.
- Proficiency with project management tools and enterprise governance systems (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
