About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across the full product lifecycle,  new and existing product development and the ongoing maintenance of in-market products. You will be working with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will be responsible for building and managing project timelines, estimating and managing budget and resources, managing risks, monitoring progress and communicating status to upper management.

Your responsibilities

- Manage the development or maintenance of consumer preferred products for Reckitt brands from ideation, launch and securing in the market

- Manage the development and maintenance of consumer preferred products for Reckitt brands, spanning ideation, launch, and post-launch product lifecycle management

- Coordinate activities and objectives with Marketing, R&D and other cross-functional teams to advance assigned initiatives through the product development process to achieve desired cost targets and business results

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects

- Manage cross functional project activity across several functions including internal / external resources and lead cross-functional teams serving as the gate holder of all project timelines; track project plans and milestones

- Ensure all parties involved in delivering projects are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards, and resolve or escalate any arising issues

- Establish, communicate and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentations and monthly status reports

- Ensure proactive and timely escalation of key projects and issues to appropriate stakeholders 

- Ensure budgets and cross-functional resources are identified, allocated and managed per project requirements

- Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to address specific project challenges / issues 

- Prepare and present project status and risks to upper management

- Apply influence to better align other functions to agreement of overall business objectives

- Resolve conflicts and build strong working relationships within the project teams

- Use appropriate delegation / influencing techniques as a vehicle to deliver project actions

- Support the development and maintenance of the project pipeline by ensuring timely, accurate updates and proactively escalating issues when necessary.

The experience we're looking for

- Exceptional Project Management skills and Microsoft Project skills

- BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering, Master's degree in business a plus.

- Extensive relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery.

- Experience within Health or Medical Device industry is a plus.

- Experience of working with global project team is a plus 

- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or other professional project management qualification (or on-track) is a plus.

- Planning and organisational skills with good understanding of priority setting.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to provide feedback to team members with the goal of attaining common understanding, trust, and cooperation. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement and motivation.

- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility regarding changing priorities.

- Entrepreneurial with an affinity for problem solving with a solution-oriented mindset.

- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards and delivering results.
