About the role
As an R&D Analytical Assistant in Category GI at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail, technical curiosity in problem solving and collaborative approach will be crucial in supporting and delivering New and Existing product developments.
While this role is primarily analytical, you will also have the opportunity to support formulation activities when needed. We encourage our team members to develop experience across both areas, providing wider exposure to the product development process and supporting long-term career development within R&D.
Your responsibilities
- Perform day to day analytical testing in conformance with all relevant safety and quality requirements.
- Take ownership of allocated activities and projects within the category innovation pipeline, working in close partnership with R&D capability teams
- Ensure compliance with regulations, quality and health and safety requirements for all analytical activities and team members
- Support the analytical feasibility stage of product development cycle for all agreed projects through to factory scale up working with the cross functional teams
- Communicate issues effectively and appropriately to ensure timely resolution with all relevant parties whilst maintaining the positive image of Reckitt and Category GI team

Contribute to the development, evaluation, and optimisation of formulations, helping to deliver project milestones to agreed timelines
The experience we're looking for
- Degree level qualification, preferably in a Chemistry, Bio-Chem or Life Sciences discipline
- Knowledge and understanding of HPLC within a laboratory environment.
- Experience of working within a laboratory in an analytical capacity

Previous experience supporting formulation development activities would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
- High level of accuracy in working practices with close attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is essential and fluency in local languages advantageous
- Ability to build strong networks across cross functional teams
- Comfortable working independently and partnering with cross functional teams
