About the role
As a Formulation Assistant within Upper Respiratory ROW R&D you will be responsible for the end-to-end support of NPDs for the Sore Throat and Cough Category, delivering the innovation in line with the Brand Strategy.
Reporting into the Senior Associate, as a R&D Formulation Assistant working collaboratively with the rest of the R&D experts across our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of number of products to ensure we keep competitive and drive innovation.
Your responsibilities
• Support the delivery of allocated projects within the category innovation pipeline through formulation development in line with QbD principles and GMP.
• Deliver the formulation feasibility stage of product development cycle for all agreed projects through to factory scale up working with the R&D matrix organisation
• Provide technical support for medicine and medical device license applications through authoring of dossiers and technical files
• Work diligently with 3rd parties EMOs on external development opportunities and in-licensing showcasing best practise needs and collaboration.
• Respond effectively and efficiently to changes in project priorities and needs whilst communicating clearly risks and project impacts to stakeholders.
The experience we're looking for
• Degree, preferably Science, technology, engineering or mathematics-based subject.
• Experience of delivering development projects within OTC Healthcare
• Knowledge of OTC formulation product development process
• The capability to define, evaluate and communicate risks and the associated mitigation plans
• Communication and influencing skills
• Ability to build strong networks across a matrix organisation
• Comfortable working independently and partnering with cross functional teams within a matrix organisation
