About the role
The role is to work within a dynamic and high performing team on delivering projects associated with the Sore Throat portfolio. This role will mainly focus on performing R&D activities required to support the implementation of key compliance and supply projects, such as raw material changes, method development/validation and medicinal licence maintenance.
Your responsibilities
• Provide accurate technical support for multiple product classifications, including lab scale manufacture of lozenge products, development and validation analytical test methods, and finished product stability testing.
• Support in solving complex technical problems using experience, knowledge, research and advice.
• Author required documentation in line with current best practice and internal SOP requirements.
• Maintenance of good standards with respect to compliance, H&S and audit readiness.
• Work with other teams globally across R&D, supply, quality and regulatory to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high quality.
The experience we're looking for
• Degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Chemistry or Biological Science.
• Desirable, but not essential, to have relevant experience of product development within one of an R&D Healthcare, CDMO, FMCG or Medical Device environment
• Confidence to perform laboratory tasks to a high standard.
• Results orientated and self-motivated.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask without compromising quality and delivery.
• Strong intellectual curiosity ability to think out of the box.
