About the role
As Regulatory Operations Specialist, you will work across some of Reckitt's largest brands. You may also be asked to support work within a different classification area. You will be responsible for supporting the content and timely preparation of new dossiers/registration packages/notification and will also be required to update the relevant parts of dossiers/packages/notifications to support internal file maintenance, variation and registration/notification changes in both the new and post launch part of product lifecycle - supporting the delivery of new products and protecting the base business. You will strive to maintain an excellent level of compliance for our products globally.
Management of dossiers/registration and notification is a critical and integral part of Regulatory Operations and the wider Regulatory and Safety organization and, you will support and collaborate with a cross functional team to assist in the execution of the operations strategy and delivery of relevant regulatory requirements. You will work with operational excellence within the projects that you are assigned to and will align on your priorities and resourcing with the relevant regulatory project lead.
You will form part of the Regulatory Operations team supporting connections with the RAS Strategy teams, Local regulatory and represent Regulatory Operations within project teams where input on regulatory requirements is required. You will also aid in partnering with cross-functional colleagues including Consumer Safety and Risk Management/Vigilance, R&D, Supply and Quality across Reckitt where expertise in Biocides & Disinfectants /General products & detergents would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will ensure that you work according to internal and external standards, to ensure our dossiers are compliant according to external regulations and internal standards.
Your responsibilities
- Support delivery/creation and maintenance of regulatory dossiers/registration and notifications, ensuring accuracy in line with relevant regulations and requirements in the remit of Biocides & Disinfectants or General Products & Detergents, however flexibility to support the business across classification categories may be required, where appropriate.
- Developing an understanding of regulatory requirements in the remit of Biocides & Disinfectants/General Product and Detergent classification.
- Working in partnership across RAS teams to support the development, communication, and implementation of the regulatory strategy in collaboration with cross-functional project team and alignment on content of the regulatory submission. Assisting preparation and submission of relevant regulatory documentation (e g. dossiers, notifications).
- Supporting simplification and efficiency projects to deliver on Reckitt business ambitions.
- Engaging as required in dynamic resourcing process to ensure that regulatory deliverables are supported within the wider Regulatory Operations team.

- You have scientific credentials with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) / Master of Science (MS) degree in a relevant scientific discipline - such as Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Pharmacy.
- You have some knowledge of the Regional and Global regulatory environment and how it impacts regulatory dossiers and registrations, or you can demonstrate where you have evidenced the ability to competently build regulatory or technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- You have an ability to support work on multiple projects at any given time and a capability to prioritise and manage your own workload independently, seeking support from the regulatory project lead as needed.
- You are agile and demonstrate this by being able to work across different classifications as needed (with supervision and guidance where required).
- You are a creative, results focused individual with a passion for working collaboratively and with empathy with cross functional teams, built on technical credibility, trust and strong relationships.
- You have the ability to consistently deliver work to time, cost and quality standards in a high-pressure environment.
- You strive for a high level of accuracy in authoring and or reviewing documentation for regulatory purposes, with a focus on ensuring the level of registered information is appropriate.
- You are able to review and summarise regulatory /technical information both orally and in written communications.
