About the role
As Senior Associate - VSR, you'll be responsible for the vigilance support and continuous improvement of business-critical output related to safety including but not limited to Vigilance Safety Reports, at the discretion of the Director/Global QPPV/PRRC. In line with regulations, general quality standards, Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Reckitt values.
The role will be a contributor and functional lead for compliance and digital solutions for the VSR team. The individual will require strong business acumen and an in-depth technical knowledge regarding vigilance and vigilance safety reports requirements for Reckitt products.
The Senior Associate collaborates with relevant teams and functions and is responsible for the creation and management of vigilance safety reports. In line with regulations, general quality standards, Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Reckitt values.
Will be self-motivated with strong initiative and drive and able to ensure the delivering of consistent and high-quality safety assessments to support the safety of Reckitt products.

Your responsibilities
The Senior Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of the tasks leading to the complete management of Reckitt product safety.
- Responsible for creation and management of vigilance safety reports with on time delivery.
- Analyse safety data and prepare benefit–risk content for required reports.
- Work with the Senior Manager to ensure all safety reporting outputs are a high quality, meet regulatory, quality, SOP, and Reckitt standards.
- Completion, review and analysis of compliance metrics and Quality One records. Completion of route cause analysis and CAPA where applicable. Collaborate with relevant teams and functions to drive high quality consistent deliverables and continuous improvement solutions.
- Work with the Senior Manager and VSR Team members to ensure that the process documentation other appropriate documentation is updated and remain current and compliant.
- Assist with training and support of new VSR members and third-party writers and retraining of existing members. as required, with guidance from the Senior Manager.
- Ensure that the electronic safety database, digital solutions and supporting business processes are optimally placed for the needs of the VSR Team. Collaborates with relevant teams and functions for the best outcome.
- Support in inspection/audit activities relating to information and support in preparation for the team to be inspection ready. Lead the audit requirements for your functional lead responsibilities. The QPPV/Director remains accountable.
- Guided by the Senior Manager will review legislation and guidance as required and provide feedback on any impact to current processes. Complete process documentation updates as required.

- Ensure that company safety standards are met for all existing company products, actively contribute to the development and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines to drive high quality consistent deliverables.
- Support the VSR team in the absence of the Senior Manager where applicable.
The experience we're looking for
- BSc in healthcare, life sciences or related discipline, relevant safety preferred but not essential
- Relevant vigilance/pharmacovigilance or related product safety experience minimum of 3 years e.g. safety documentation authoring/review essential
- Full understanding and working knowledge of function and international regulations relating to vigilance requirements for Reckitt products
- Proven experience in vigilance safety report methodologies
- Effective cross functional stakeholder skills, communicating opportunities and articulation of safety to the wider business teams
- Ability to work with digital solutions and to identify digital process improvements
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under pressure
- Robust project and time management abilities and experience collaborating across teams
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, technical editing and QC skills
- Experienced in conducting root cause analysis and developing effective CAPA to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Effectively combines clear, structured thinking with the ability to spot patterns, make sound decisions, and deliver creative, forward thinking solutions
- You will need to display strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms, acute business acumen accompanied by global awareness and interpersonal skills, to deliver the appropriate safety expertise to support the safety of Reckitt products
Additional experience that may be beneficial but not essential:
• Audit/Inspection experience
• MedDRA coding experience and qualification
• Understanding of data integrity, data quality, and electronic record management
• Reckitt product knowledge
