About the role

Our Site Reliability Manager will be a member of the Hull Senior Leadership Team, playing a crucial role in driving reliability excellence across our manufacturing operations. They will support the Engineering Manager in providing reliability insights into capital planning and delivery, and will enhance site safety, product quality, and production performance through provision of strategic reliability initiatives. 

The Reliability Manager leads the deployment of our Reckitt Production System (RPS) tools, embedding Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), and advanced reliability engineering practices to sustain and improve asset performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and champion the site reliability strategy
  • Lead deployment of RPS tools
  • Provide reliability input for CAPEX planning and execution, ensuring alignment with long-term asset reliability and performance
  • Ensure reliability efforts are prioritized to support production targets and quality standards
  • Drive proactive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Optimize CMMS for planning, tracking, and performance analysis
  • Monitor and improve MTBF, MTTR, and equipment uptime
  • Lead RCA and FMEA processes to eliminate chronic losses and improve system resilience
  • Lead a reliability-focused team driving a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Improve OEE across all manufacturing areas
  • Benchmark reliability performance internally and externally
  • Leverage digital tools to enhance predictive maintenance
  • Support CI initiatives including Centre Lining, Changeover Reduction, and Problem Solving
  • Ensure proactive compliance with cGMP, HSE, ISO, and Atex standards
  • Site statutory legal responsibilities

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years in FMCG or Self Care manufacturing, ideally OTC Pharmaceutical  
  • Proven leadership in reliability or maintenance roles
  • Strong knowledge of TPM, AM, CMMS, and reliability engineering tools
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and cGMP
  • Creating Maintenance strategies for the site for the next 1 to 3 years
  • Experience of changing a culture in a complex environment 
  • HSE qualification would be advantageous
