Assistant Commercial Finance Manager

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month end close activities and Interco cross charges for all 3 GBUs Marketing Spend.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and drive monthly Marketing P&L dialogue with Marketing leaders.
  • Own and manage database; includes provide valuable support to the commercial team, offering insight and value-added input on key financial topics and accurate analysis of budgets, forecast and actuals for the business planning.
  • Produce robust forecast that achieve business objectives by contributing to quarterly forecasting and annual planning process with top-down targets allocation into different brands/segments & business units within the organization accurately.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Marketing. 
  • Understand the drivers of business performance, identifying trend, areas of opportunity or remedial action and influence the implementation of initiatives to drive profitability/return of investment.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives such as automation and streamlining.
  • Business partner with local Marketing team and Region to drive productivities.
  • Any other ad-hoc assigned by the Management.
     

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or Accountancy from a recognized university.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must. Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Good accounting, P&L knowledge and financial understanding. Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills and business acumen. Demonstrate courage to challenge business assumptions.
  • Ability to interpret business facts and translate into decisions on processes and system management.
  • Proactive in communication and able to manage expectations and handle key stakeholders from executives’ level up to head of departments and others.
  • High learning agility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Right attitude, positive minded and passionate in driving and succeeding in your career.
