About the role
Are you ready to become the cornerstone of our supply chain, ensuring our customers get what they need when they need it? As a Demand Planner for large markets or Demand Planning Manager for smaller markets at Reckitt, your expertise will drive our production, purchasing, and provide invaluable insights into our supply dynamics. In this strategic role, you are the maestro of data, understanding and interpreting market trends to predict demand with precision. Your responsibilities
- Generate forecasts by reviewing historical trends, promotion calendar, and activities available from commercial team;
- Drive discussion in meetings with commercial team within the S&OP process to produce unbiased forecast, gap identification or closure with sound facts and communicate supply constraints or business risks;
- To challenge forecasts when necessary based on trend analysis, MAPE & BIAS data, promotional and media phasing etc;
- Update, produce and publish reports including the monthly forecast accuracy report, S&OP Gap initial and final reports. Provide SKU volumes to Finance for Business Forecasts and Plan;
- Ensure out of plan issues are communicated in advance using the S&OP process to allow business alignment with relevant action points to address the issues;
- Ensure agreed forecasts are communicated to suppliers/intercompany source points via company defined system (such as SNP, RapidResponse etc) for stock planning;
- Plan replenishment of product to maintain supply service levels;
- Work with warehouse / logistic in ensuring stock arrival and availability
The experience we're looking for
- University degree related to the field of Supply Chain or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply/demand planning and determine priorities in a highly pressured working environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge on SAP APO, SNP is a must
- Highly analytical and fact-based decision making
- Able to work independently, think logically, challenge status quo, and consistently seek to improve current way of working to seek of productivity
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a rapid change environment
- Good understanding of the FMCG nature and business
- Good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English.
