About the role

Reckitt is on the lookout for a visionary Global Category Director for our Large + segment, who is ready to make waves in the consumer goods industry. Your responsibilities

Area CGO (Communications, Growth & Innovation)

Lead the Area growth agenda by defining strategic plans, driving brand communications, and delivering innovation across markets. Partner with Global Brand Directors, Managing Directors, and cross-functional teams to build growth strategies, ensure creative excellence, and execute product, commercial, e-commerce, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Area’s 3-year growth strategy, portfolio roadmap, and profit plans.
  • Lead regional communications, activation planning, and development of creative assets and toolkits.
  • Drive innovation delivery, stage-gate governance, and commercialization of NPDs, EPDs, and BDIs.
  • Shape digital and e-commerce strategies to enhance the consumer journey.
  • Partner with Design, Shopper, Commercial, and Supply teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Generate consumer and business insights, evaluate launch performance, and translate learnings into future growth opportunities.
 

The experience we're looking for

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant marketing experience within FMCG, with OTC and/or Self-Care category experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies, combining strong strategic thinking with commercial delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with performance management, business planning, and P&L management.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data, analytics, and consumer insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Proven track record in innovation development and delivery, including opportunity identification, idea generation, validation, and end-to-end project execution.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience influencing and aligning stakeholders across multiple functions and markets.
  • Solid experience in brand management, including managing brands or portfolios within a complex organization.
  • Proven expertise in Creative & Communications development and execution, ensuring impactful and consistent brand building across channels.
